cracked, crumbling, stumbling
through the crevices or your brokenness
can't heal what's not hurt,
can't mend what's not wrong
even though it feels wrong
even though it does hurt;
trip and tear open the seams and
rip and bear the weight of the dead skin or
let the broken pieces fall away and
peer down into the blue veins that run
beneath the skin there lies the pulse
of the endless river's whisperings;
there sleeps the heart that Sees
and never dies.
Gah. I suck at poetry. Whatever.
