How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

There are many different kinds of prayer. I think a lot of people pray without even knowing they are doing it. A strong enough will towards something, whether it's a plea or a giving gesture of kindness; a cleansing of emotion through some form of release, or a renewal of energy through something inspirational; I think all of those things are prayer. Where there is intent and a flow of energy; that is prayer to me.

When I make a Prayer Crane, I write the prayer on a piece of origami paper. Then I fold the crane very purposefully, thinking of the thing I'm praying about. When it's finished, I spend a few more minutes meditating with the crane, imbuing it with my energy with the thought, "Make these things happen" or whatever is appropriate for that prayer. Then I hang them up with some string under my windowsill; every time I see them, I am reminded of the promise I made to myself about that prayer, and that I am always in possession of the tools I need to live my life the way I am called to.

I was inspired by ~kitton's reaching out to her fellow deviants with her Prayer Stars, and wanted to something similar.

At first I thought, "I'm too depressed right now, I don't have the energy to spare for other people."

But then I realized that it would probably be really good for me. Because the truth is, the energy is never really gone. Just because I feel like shit right now doesn't mean that at any moment that I choose I can't lift myself back up; there is always the means for me to do so; that energy is not gone, it's simply deep within myself, in a place that I somehow wandered away from and need to find my way back to.

So, friends, is there something or someone you would like a prayer for? You don't have to be religious or spiritual even to submit a request; for me, just knowing that a complete stranger was willing to spend time thinking about me and sending me good thoughts and energy was bolstering.

So I didn't do this before because I didn't think I had anything that needed your prayer... but last week I found out that my dog, Missy, has bone cancer and only has about a month or so to live. I flew back from Australia to take care of her yesterday. She's really happy and energetic but she has a cast on her leg so she can't run or jump. My prayer is for her to be happy and not in pain during her last days.

Thanks for sharing Megan, I will pray for Missy, I'm very sorry you're losing your friend. :C Our cat, we discovered recently, has(had?) liver failure and he seemed pretty sure he was about to go because he kept trying to get out of the house to go hide, you know. He did manage to get out and we haven't seen him... so we can only hope that he isn't still suffering and finally got to experience a bit of peace.

I feel like being selfless is the best remedy (along with exersize!) to any bad feelings... so I hope this helps you, too! I typically don't have a specific prayer but right now I DO! I am trying to get a job in France right not, but my French is not very good so it's proving to be a lot of effort. So if you could pray for God to help me find the right job for me, and to help me stay focussed that'd be awesome
